Eastside Intramural Tournament
In August, after the League season ends, Eastside members compete with each other in an Intramural Tournament. Members have loads of fun competing in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles for the numbers one- and two-spot trophies…representing the best in the Club.
John A. Sales Memorial Annual Doubles Tennis Tournament
Eastside sponsors a USTA sanctioned annual doubles tennis tournament the second weekend in September in honor of Eastside's founding director. The site and pertinent information for this tournament is listed in the USTA Mid-Atlantic Section Yearbook, along with all other sanctioned tournaments of the region. The application and fee will be available on this website starting the middle of July. Duplicate the application from this website and mail it in early to the address provided.
Winter Tennis Parties
From November through March, Eastside hosts tennis parties that are open to the general public. This gives all tennis players in the area an opportunity to compete together socially, as well as, to reinforce their tennis skills. In addition to tennis, there is music, food, table games, and great camaraderie. Each team is assigned to host a tennis party. This year we will have a Member Appreciation Party.
